WINGS Program
We are proud to partner with the WINGS (Workplace and Independent Growth Skills) Transitional Program, which offers young adults with alternative or modified diplomas from the Corvallis School District the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience.
Through this program, we provide job training and hands-on learning in retail operations, including duties like sorting, tagging, and organizing merchandise. Participants also develop important life skills, such as time management and communication.
We are honored to be one of the local businesses helping students transition from high school to the workforce. This collaboration not only helps these young adults prepare for future careers but also supports their growth and independence.
Lyndsey has a background in education and child development. She is a mom of three with a passion for researching baby and kid gear to educate others about using these items safely.
Meanwhile, Josie has a background in multiple areas, with a degree in apparel design, and experience in retail as both a kids associate at a premium outfitter and managing a furniture/decor store. She is a mom to one sweet toddler girl. She comes from an indigenous background, is pursuing higher education, and is passionate about sustainability in our world.
Since we formed our partnership, we are now rebranding with our own vision and looking to expand by hiring employees and opening new locations in the next 5 years.
Donation Program
We believe in the power of giving and actively support local charities and families in need. Each week, we donate unsold merchandise or items that aren’t suitable for resale to local organizations like Vina Moses and Lincoln Elementary School. These donations help provide clothing and other essentials to community members who are going through difficult times.
Additionally, we understand that some families may face financial hardship, especially in moments of grief. That’s why we offer special support, such as accepting all items in one consignment batch for families who are grieving the loss of a loved one, particularly children, and providing extended consignment periods when necessary. Our donation program is part of our broader effort to create a positive, compassionate impact in our community and help those who need it most.
